Robert Ainsley, conductor of Portland Opera's groundbreaking production of La Calisto that featured PBO, directs this year's Messiah. The performances will feature boy soprano Michael Kepler Meo (Miles in Portland Opera's production of Turn of the Screw last speason) singing "the Angel."   Australian rising-star soprano Rachelle Durkin makes her Portland debut, alongside mezzo-soprano Angela Niederloh, tenor Brendan Tuohy, baritone Christopher Burchett, and celebrated chorus Cappella Romana.
