Monica Huggett directed, and the program featured one of the fastest rising stars in Baroque performance, the Scottish soprano Susan Hamilton.

Monica Huggett's violin virtuosity along with vocal fireworks performed by Scottish soprano Susan Hamilton, pictured, started off PBO's 28th season of contrasts and connections. Music by Vivaldi and Locatelli, along with the debut of a rarely-performed violin concerto by Guiseppe Tartini, October 14, 15 & 16.
